I’ve said it before but I am really serious about intentions and goal setting. Any opportunity I get to write down my dreams whether it’s first thing Monday Morning or Resolutions at the start of the new year – I am all about it.
I recently read about how one blogger writes monthly intentions ON PAPER with PENCIL CRAYONS and makes is super creative. She doesn’t do the exercise in her regular planner and sometimes rips the page of her intentions out to stick on her wall. I thought that was pretty and I loved the creative aspect of actually putting pencil crayon to paper.
Here is my list of December Intentions! I did on the girls little desk while Miss was watching cartoons. When she saw what I had done she wanted in on the action.
This week has been a bit of a whirlwind. Was pretty hectic with work but thankfully made the time to get into the gym. I also started my certificate courses this week (as if I wasn’t busy enough) – which means lots of reading (textbook, lectures), participation (in class discussion etc) and assignments (um…eek). I am honestly wondering what I got myself into.
We have a busy week at home planned, finish the big girl room, convert the guest room into an office, organize around the house, take lots of photos, write lots, swim at the pool, do lots of yoga, listen to music, eat out a new restos a whole bunch and relax (spa day, movies etc). #WeeklyIntentions
But both the mister and I are studying as well – so we’ll see how that all goes. Buuutt… we went to Ikea today and I got a whole ton of inspiration! I always find Ikea to not only give me inspiration for my home – but also about life in general (creativity, motivation etc). #IkeaFTW
I will leave you with this awesome speech. Although it was driven by the premise of a company’s marketing – I just love the points made.
